🎃 Diane Louvel • "Glitter Crash" • (Album Preview)

Event Photos

^ • Growing up in two epicentres of culture, fashion, and music (New York City and Paris), it isn’t a surprise that Diane Louvel ended up in the arts. Louvel started singing at a young age and writing songs in college inspired by the folk-rock musicians of the 70s. Louvel's voice is reminiscent of Gillian Welch with sprinkles of Neko Case; her songs are melody driven stories inspired by relationships, work and the comedy of life. She released an album "Above and Beyond" in 2023 which was reviewed by independent music outlets including V13, Guitar Girl Magazine, Playy Magazine. Louvel is currently working on a new EP and has a day job in advertising. Reivews: Guitar Girl Magazine: "Louvel’s sound echoes with organic authenticity, highlighted by a voice reminiscent of Joni Mitchell crossed with Ethel Cain." Citrus Magazine: "Musically she glides through the decades of classic folk and country stylings.  All-in-all this is a very solid outing". Certified Bop: "Diane’s music is a poignant blend of nostalgia and innovation."
