Join us at The Forefront for an evening with internationally renowned designer and illustrative lettering artist Gemma O’Brien, exploring the power of human touch, creative independence and building a career with a distinctive point of view ✨
Known for her bold graphics, expressive lettering and large-scale wall paintings, Gemma has created work for some of the world's most recognisable names, including Apple, Nike, Google, Tiffany & Co. and The New York Times. Her work has also been commissioned by Times Square Arts and is held in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York.
But behind the global collaborations and acclaimed creative practice is a journey shaped by curiosity, risk-taking and a deep appreciation for the art of making 👩🏼🎨
In The Human Frequency, Gemma will share insights from her creative journey, from leaving law school to pursue graphic design and discovering letterpress printing, to developing a signature style that translates across mediums, audiences and international brands.
