The Horsehope Craig Hoard Revisited

Discovered by chance in 1864 by a shepherd under a large stone on a scree slope near Manor Water, this extraordinary Late Bronze Age hoard, now held at Tweeddale Museum in Peebles, has undergone a ‘cold case’ re-examination by Trevor Cowie, who promises to shed new light on some old finds.

Peeblesshire Archaeological Society members attend for free as normal. No need to book.
