Comics for the Night:
Host Michael Palmenderi performs an energetic physical performance which is both immersive and hilarious as he takes you through his struggles with chronic pain, singing everything like he’s in a musical, and being hairy in an increasingly hairless world. Michael has a background in theatre and trained at the Second City Chicago where he graduated from the Conservatory Program. He’s worked in multiple theatrical productions and has provided spirit fingers throughout the entire Chicagoland area.
Guest Feature Jon Torgy is a Chicago suburbs-based comedian. He is a father of 2 and the Host and creator of the podcast TorgyTalk. He likes to share his experiences and funny stories about being a father, and mixes in some edgy humor to go along with it. Jon has performed at the Vixen in McHenry, Comedy Plex and the Red Room. He has shared the stage with comics like Peyton Ruddy, Abi Sanchez and Paul Faravhar. When he isn’t performing you can find him trying to be a great dad and editing his podcast.
Main Feature Justin Arcenaux is a St. Charles native who has been performing stand-up comedy for several years, bringing his unique brand of humor to stages and venues across the country. His comedy blends relatable everyday experiences with a fresh, original perspective, delivering laughs that audiences from all walks of life can appreciate.
Headliner Des Mulrooney is a 26-year-old comedian and actor who has performed at theaters and clubs all over America including being a Zanies regular. He recently filmed his debut special for DryBar Comedy making him the second youngest comedian to ever do so. He also starred in a new movie alongside Doug Stanhope called, “The Road Dog” which was directed by Greg Gliena (Meet the Parents). The Road Dog was featured on the Joe Rogan Experience and is now streaming on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and on demand. A Lot More Fun Comedy Club in Michigan called Des, “One of the top young comedians in the country”. Des was also voted, “Best Comedian” by the Chicago Suburbs Comedy Scene for 2024.
