The transition to high school is a major milestone for students and families. It can also bring stress and uncertainty. New social dynamics, tougher coursework, and greater independence often leave even confident students feeling overwhelmed.
In this informative presentation, parents and caregivers will learn what the high school transition really requires. We’ll explore the academic, social, and emotional changes students face. Then we’ll share practical ways to support them.
Drawing on expertise in adolescent development, executive function, and academic skills, Gail offers clear, realistic strategies. Parents will learn how to build confidence, reduce anxiety, and encourage independence. As a result, students can start high school feeling prepared and supported.
