You have asked and we are so excited to finally open registration!

Join Community Herbalist Amanda Calkins of Wild Willow Herbals for The Herbal Path, an intimate two-day, 16-hour immersive introduction to foundational herbalism and hands-on herbal crafting.

This experience is designed for those who feel called to work more closely with plants but may not know where to begin. No previous herbal experience is required. Together, we will slow down, work with our hands, build relationships with the plants, and explore practical ways to incorporate herbal knowledge and handcrafted preparations into everyday and seasonal life.

Throughout the weekend, participants will receive instruction in foundational herbal concepts, plant relationships, preparation methods, responsible sourcing, safety, storage, labeling, and home apothecary practices. The workshop will emphasize experiential learning, creativity, and the process of making.

Participants will handcraft a variety of herbal products during the workshop and will take home everything they create.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Your registration includes:

• 16 hours of hands-on herbal instruction

• All herbs, ingredients, jars, containers, and workshop materials

• A variety of handcrafted herbal products and preparations to take home

• A printed Herbal Path workshop handbook

• Selected recipes and preparation guides

• Foundational plant-profile and reflection materials

• Instruction in basic herbal preparation methods and home apothecary practices

• Guidance on responsible sourcing, safety, labeling, storage, and use

• Space for questions, conversation, and individualized learning

Some preparations may continue developing or infusing after the workshop. Participants will receive general guidance for completing, straining, labeling, and storing any preparations that require additional time at home.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Amanda Calkins is a Community Herbalist, Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher, and the founder of Wild Willow Herbals and Wild Willow Farm in Franklin, New Hampshire.

Amanda’s approach to herbalism is rooted in relationship, accessibility, hands-on learning, and a deep respect for the wisdom of the plants. Her work brings together traditional herbal practices, seasonal living, creativity, community connection, and more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families.

After taking a necessary pause from teaching while recovering from an injury and cervical spine surgery, Amanda is grateful and excited to return to teaching herbal workshops and rebuilding community around the plants.
