Slow down, pick up a brush, and reconnect with yourself. The Healing Palette is a 90-minute creative-wellness workshop that blends accessible art-making with gentle reflection, guided by Afshan Khan, an abstract impressionist artist and Certified Therapeutic Arts Practitioner.
This workshop draws inspiration from Afshan’s own painting, Sunlit Serenade — born from her love of sunflowers, nature, colour and light, and named for the gentle song nature seems to sing through it. You won’t be recreating it stroke for stroke; it’s simply a starting point, with Afshan guiding you step by step while leaving room to make it your own.
The session opens with a grounding exercise to settle into the present moment through colour, then moves into guided painting with acrylic or watercolour — no experience needed. Just bring yourself, and together we’ll slow down, explore colour, and find a little calm through the creative process. There’s no right or wrong — just be present, have fun, and enjoy creating.
