Come Dance With Us! 💃🕺☀️What happens when you combine a happy song, a simple line dance, great food, music, dancing, and a whole bunch of people who could use a little more joy in their lives?
We intend to find out. :)
On October 10th, at City Gates Plaza (Portas da Cidade) in the Fall River waterfront, we're bringing together old friends, former students, new friends, dancers and complete non-dancers for one simple reason: to have some fun and create a little happiness together.
Brett has created a fun, easy-to-learn line dance to “The Happy Song” by Waves Rush In (Sam Branson), and we're getting everyone together to learn it, dance it and film it as one big group.
You do NOT need to know how to dance. Seriously. If you can move, laugh and occasionally figure out which direction everyone else is going, you're qualified. 😂 We'll teach you everything when you get there.
And the line dance is only the beginning!
Afterward, stick around for a dance party with on-the-spot, as-you-go dance instruction—so whether you've been dancing for years or have absolutely no idea what you're doing, you can jump in and join the fun.
We'll also have food trucks on site, so grab something delicious, hang out, meet some new people, reconnect with people you haven't seen in far too long, and dance whenever the mood strikes.
Come by yourself. Bring a friend. Bring your family. Bring your old dance buddies. Everyone is welcome.
We'll learn. We'll laugh. We'll probably mess it up at least once. We'll eat. We'll dance. And we're going to create something pretty special together.
Because the world could use a little more joy right now.
And sometimes all it takes to create it is a song, a dance, some good food and a bunch of people willing to show up. ❤️
