Written by Anne Nelson
Directed by Gaetana Del Prete & Cindy Sheets
In the raw aftermath of September 11, Anne Nelson’s The Guys stands as a deeply moving tribute to ordinary heroes.
The drama follows Nick, a New York City fire captain paralyzed by grief after losing eight of his men in the World Trade Center collapse.
Seeking a way forward, he enlists Joan, a sympathetic writer, to help craft their eulogies, forging an unexpected bond of shared resilience and profound human connection.
THE GUYS is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Dramatists Play Service. www.concordtheatricals.com.
