𝗔𝗛𝗗𝗕 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 - 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹: 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
Give yourselves the tools to communicate better, handle difficult conversations, and plan with clarity at this one-day GRIP Workshop, part-funded by AHDB Beef and Lamb.
Farming is hard enough without the added weight of family tension, succession worries, and decisions nobody wants to make out loud. It's so so common for farming families to feel stuck - going round in circles, avoiding the conversations that matter most. This workshop won't fix everything in a day, but it will give you a different way in.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂:
- Understand why family conversations on farm break down, and what's really going on underneath
- Get a practical framework for tackling succession, change, and decision-making
- Learn how to handle conflict without it turning into a bigger falling out
- Build confidence to say the things that need to be said, calmly and clearly
- Walk away with a plan, not just a nice chat
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆:
- A full day, face-to-face, small-group workshop delivered by Amy Hughes of EmpowerAg, who grew up in a farming family herself
- Practical tools grounded in behavioural science, explained in plain English - no jargon, no waffle
- A workbook to keep and use back on the farm
- A follow-up online check-in after the workshop
- Time with other farming families who get it, without judgement
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆:
"I finally feel like someone understands what it's actually like on our farm, not just the theory."
"This gave us a way to talk about succession without it ending in an argument."
"Practical, honest, and delivered by someone who's lived it."
𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
- Part-funded by AHDB Beef and Lamb, reducing the cost to £50.72 per person - includes training materials, refreshments and a voluntary follow-up session with Amy.
- Course tutor: Amy Hughes of EmpowerAg.
- Limited spaces, first-come first-served.
- Priority given to English beef and sheep farmers. Scotland/Wales levy payers or other sectors can join a waiting list by emailing [email protected]
- This course is directed at active farmers. A CPH is required to secure the discounted rate.
- CPD points are available for the workshop.
