Your heart might just grow three sizes at this one.
Join us at Romney Brown Candle Company in downtown Grayslake on December 5 from 6:00–8:00 PM for Movie Night: The Grinch — a festive evening filled with custom candle making, pizza, something sweet, and a viewing of The Grinch.
Come cozy, come festive, and get ready to make a candle that is completely your own while enjoying a holiday favorite with us.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Movie Night includes the full experience: candle making, a special themed candle label and topper, pizza, a sweet treat, and the movie viewing.
You’ll create your candle using our natural coconut soy wax and choose from 150+ clean fragrances to design your own scent.
You’re never limited to one or two predetermined scents just because it’s a themed event. The whole point of the Romney Brown experience is that your candle should smell like something YOU actually want to burn.
Want something Christmas-y? We’ve got you.
Want absolutely nothing Christmas-y? Also totally fine.
Mix and match fragrances until you find your perfect combination, and our team will guide you through the process.
We’ll finish your Movie Night candle with a special themed label and topper, making this one extra fun to bring home.
Then get comfortable, grab some pizza and a sweet treat, and enjoy The Grinch with us.
BRING BACK YOUR OLD MOVIE NIGHT VESSEL & SAVE $15
Movie Night regulars, we have a perk for you.
Bring back your previous Romney Brown Movie Night vessel and receive $15 off your ticket.
Here’s how it works:
Purchase your ticket normally at the regular price to reserve your seat.
Bring your old Movie Night vessel with you on December 5.
When you arrive with your qualifying vessel, we’ll refund $15 from your ticket purchase.
No special ticket is needed. No discount code is needed.
Just don’t forget that vessel at home — you must bring it with you to receive the $15 refund.
THE ROMNEY BROWN DIFFERENCE
There are plenty of places to find something to do. We want you to leave feeling like you actually had an experience.
We care about every ingredient that goes into the candle you’ll eventually burn in your home, which is why we use natural coconut soy wax and clean fragrances.
We also care about helping you create a scent you genuinely love.
There’s nowhere else that cares about your candle-making experience quite like we do.
Whether this is your first candle or your tenth, our team is here to make the process easy, welcoming, creative, and fun.
A HOLIDAY NIGHT OUT IN GRAYSLAKE
Movie Night is perfect for friends, couples, families, holiday outings, girls’ nights and anyone looking for something different to do during December.
If you’re searching for Christmas activities in Illinois, holiday things to do in Lake County, candle-making experiences in Grayslake, date night ideas in the Chicago suburbs, or unique holiday activities near Chicago, this belongs on your December calendar.
Space is limited and advance tickets are required.
IMPORTANT NO-REFUND POLICY
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
We are a small business, and every Movie Night requires advance staffing, food orders, sweet treats, candle supplies, themed materials, labels, toppers, seating arrangements, and event preparation based on the number of tickets sold.
Once you reserve your seat, we begin planning and spending based on your attendance.
Because those expenses are committed ahead of time, we cannot issue refunds if you are unable to attend due to illness, scheduling conflicts, work, childcare, weather, transportation issues, emergencies, travel delays, accidentally purchasing the wrong event, changes in plans, arriving late, forgetting about the event, or any other circumstance.
Unless Romney Brown Candle Company cancels the event itself, please plan for the event to take place as scheduled.
The $15 returning-vessel promotion is separate from this policy. Guests who bring a qualifying previous Movie Night vessel to the event will receive the advertised $15 refund upon arrival.
Purchasing a ticket confirms that you understand and agree to this policy.
Come make a candle, eat some pizza, grab something sweet, and spend a festive night with us for Movie Night: The Grinch on December 5 from 6:00–8:00 PM.
