The Flaming Alligators are one of the most distinctive and fast-rising bands on the European blues circuit - having sold out at Ram Jam Records, Coolham Live Music Club and Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s - as well as being regulars at Londons iconic Ain’t Nothin But’.
Individually, the members have worked with artists such as The Banger Factory, Dino Baptiste and Dana Gillespie, bringing a broad range of influences and experience. Together, they create a sound that stands apart on the scene, blending blues with elements of jazz, improvisation, funk, and New Orleans-inspired grooves.
Fronted by guitarist and vocalist and multiple time UK Blues award nominee Marcus Praestgaard (Alice Armstrong, Dana Gillespie) alongside Harry Whitty on keyboards, trombone and vocals (Dana Gillespie, The Cinelli Brothers, Connor Selby), and supported by one of London’s funkiest rhythm sections, the band brings a fresh, contemporary edge to rhythm and blues.
