The 40th Annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Contest returns on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 12–2:30 PM at the iconic Pike Place Market. This festive community event brings together caroling teams who fill the cobblestone streets with holiday cheer—competing for a chance to sing on the Market’s main stage while raising essential funds for the Pike Market Senior Center and Food Bank. Anyone can start a team—friends, coworkers, choirs, schools, or neighbors—and invite supporters to “vote” with their donations. This year, teams will compete for top honors while helping fuel vital food and activity programs for seniors and community members facing hunger.
The Pike Market Senior Center and Food Bank (PMSCFB) is a nonprofit that provides daily meals, groceries, case management, and community programs for low-income and unhoused seniors, while ensuring nutritious food is available to anyone in need. Their work is part of what makes Pike Place Market unique: the Market’s governing entity, the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority, sustains and protects five essential human service organizations that support senior and low-income residents of the Market community.
