Looking for a free Halloween costume swap in Charlotte? Our second annual Great Costume Swap is happening at the Innovation Barn on Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and we’re giving old costumes a chance at a whole new life.Bring the costumes you’re ready to pass along and swap them for something new-to-you, completely free! Whether you’re searching for a classic Halloween look, a creative costume, or something wonderfully unexpected, you never know what treasures you’ll find.
✨ How the swap works:
Bring a clean, gently used costume you’re ready to part with, then browse the collection and choose something new to you. No money required, just a little sharing and a willingness to give a great costume another chance to shine.
A few guidelines:
• Please bring clean, gently used costumes that you’d be happy to receive yourself.
• Leave costumes with stains, damage, or repairs needed at home.
• No costume to swap? You’re still welcome to come browse!
And, of course, there’s a bigger reason we love a good swap: keeping usable costumes in circulation means fewer perfectly good items end up in the landfill. It’s a fun, simple way to make Halloween a little more sustainable while connecting with your community.
So dig through the costume bin, raid the back of the closet, and see what forgotten treasures are ready for their next Halloween adventure. 🎃
