What started as an intimate comedy fundraiser has quickly become one of Ottawa's can't-miss comedy events.
Following two consecutive sold-out editions in the National Arts Centre's Azrieli Studio, The Great Canadian Comedy Caravan returns for its 3rd annual benefit in support of Ronald McDonald House Ottawa—and this year, it's bigger than ever.
Thanks to overwhelming demand, the event moves to the Babs Asper Theatre, welcoming nearly three times as many comedy fans for an unforgettable evening of laughter, community, and giving back.
Headlining the evening is Adam Growe, best known as the beloved host of Cash Cab. A familiar face from Just For Laughs, Comedy NOW!, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, CBS's Star Search, and HGTV's Let's Build, Adam brings his signature quick wit and audience interaction to the stage.
Joining him is an all-star lineup of some of Canada's funniest comedians:
- Rick Currie (Rick Mercer Report, Just For Laughs, CBC's Laugh Out Loud, Comedy Now!, Gemini Award winner)
- Don Kelly (Canadian Screen Award and Gemini Award nominee; Just For Laughs, The Debaters, Laugh Out Loud)
- Jim McNally (Just For Laughs, Halifax and Winnipeg Comedy Festivals, Comedy Now!)
- Todd Reid (Just For Laughs, SiriusXM, Italian Week Festival, PAGE International Screenwriting Awards quarter-finalist)
Hosting the evening is Matt Watson, whose international festival credits include Just For Laughs 42, the Glasgow Comedy Festival, the Aberdeen Comedy Festival, the Perth International Arts Festival, the Adelaide Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and SiriusXM.
