The Grateful Allman Band Experience
Celebrating the Summer of Love All Year Long!
The music of The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, and The Band
The Grateful Allman Band Experience (GABE) celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers Band, and the Band—three legendary acts united by the spirit of the iconic Watkins Glen Summer Jam. Featuring musicians from Mid-Atlantic favorites Danger Bird, Covered with Jam, Montgomery Warlocks, and the Crimestoppers, GABE delivers an improvisation-driven show built on adventurous jams, musical chemistry, and timeless songs.
For more than a decade, GABE has entertained audiences from the Carolinas to New Jersey, with multiple recent sellouts drawing crowds of 200–350+. This isn’t a costumed tribute act—it’s a celebration of the feel, freedom, and interplay that made these bands legendary, welcoming jam-band devotees and casual fans alike.
For venues, GABE offers three passionate fan bases in one compelling show: broader promotional reach, a multigenerational audience, and a proven draw.
