Don’t touch that dial! This holiday season, the Fischer Theatre is tuning in to Will Hearn’s Grand Ol’ Christmas Show, a raucous, rollicking retro radio show filled with Christmas classics, live music, comedy, and plenty of holiday cheer.
Broadcasting “live” on Christmas Eve from the studios of 1225 AM N-O-E-L Radio, the Grand Ol’ Christmas Show transports audiences to the golden age of radio while putting a fresh and funny spin on the traditions of the season. Expect beloved Christmas songs like you’ve never heard them before, sketch comedy shenanigans, and a clever mix of heartfelt nostalgia and contemporary pop culture satire.
An original production from The Grand Ol’ Production Company, the show brings together an outstanding cast of musicians, artists, and entertainers, including Americana standout Blue Water Highway. Together, they create a fast-paced holiday experience that feels part old-fashioned Christmas special, part live concert, and part comedy show.
Made for music and comedy lovers of all generations, The Grand Ol’ Christmas Show celebrates the sights, sounds, humor, and traditions that make the holidays memorable. Whether you’re feeling nostalgic for Christmases past or looking for a new tradition to add to your season, tune in for a night of festive fun at the Historic Fischer Theatre!
