The Glen River Discovery Trail

Take a guided walk along the Glen River Trail, discovering how erosion control and sustainable path building help protect the landscape, learning about conservation grazing, and exploring the area’s long-standing connection to granite and the historic Granite Trail.

• Meeting Point - Donard Car Park. Area adjacent to the bus parking & entrance to the overflow car park
• Dress appropriately for the weather
• Study Footwear required
• Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
• Sections of the walk are fairly steep, a decent level of fitness is required for this event
• Assistance dogs only
