The Glasgow Distillery Warehouse Experience
Step beyond the bottle and into the heart of our warehouse for a truly immersive Glasgow Distillery experience.
Your visit begins surrounded by casks, where you’ll be welcomed with a dram from our Glasgow 1770 Signature Range, served at our warehouse bar. This is a standing-led experience, with seating available if required.
After a brief introduction to The Glasgow Distillery and the whisky in your glass, we’ll take a short look at the distillery itself, explaining our equipment and how our whisky is made. From there, you’ll move to the cask filling station to witness a cask being filled and taste our new make spirit, offering a rare glimpse into whisky at its very beginning.
Following the whisky’s journey, we’ll return to the warehouse for an introduction to our cask programme. You’ll learn about the different cask types we use, how we monitor our experimental stock, and enjoy a taste of the sherry or wine that previously seasoned some of our casks.
The experience then reaches its peak as you gather around the casks themselves.
In total, you’ll enjoy six drams, as well as our new make spirit and a glass to take home with you.
