About this Event
Come pick up some library books or attend one of our programs and share the magic of the holidays by generously donating some winter gear to our community Giving Tree!
This program helps neighbors stay warm through the cold winter months by sharing winter clothing. Whether you have extra gear to share or need an item to stay safe in the cold, our tree is here for everyone.
How to Donate: Bring new or gently used, clean winter items (hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves) and hang them on or place them around the tree.
How to Take: If you or a family member needs winter gear, please take what you need, no questions asked.
Located in Children’s Library (Detroit Public Library-Main) from December 1-31 (during regular library hours)
