Join the East Anglian Regional Group of The Geological Society of London as we welcome Alice Ballard for an engaging talk exploring the fascinating relationship between geology and wine.
The presentation will examine how geological conditions influence wine production and flavour, with attendees having the opportunity to sample some of the wines featured during the talk.
Alice Ballard is a geologist, practising Geotechnical Engineer, and holds a WSET Level 2 qualification. Alice has a passion for exploring the influence of geology on wine and will share insights from both geological and wine perspectives.
Wine tasting samples are included.
