The Hunnicutt Foundation invites young men and boys ages 15–35 to an empowering afternoon designed to turn potential into purpose and purpose into opportunity.

The Gathering is more than an event—it’s a space for real conversations, practical tools, positive connections, and new possibilities. Participants will hear from community leaders and explore what it takes to build a successful future—from developing critical-thinking skills to creating, earning workforce certifications, mapping out a career, building healthy families, and maintaining a positive mindset.
Featuring Main Speaker Coach Vic Hudson and Guest Speaker Demetrius Smith, the afternoon will bring young men together to focus on brotherhood, leadership, personal responsibility, career success, financial opportunity, and healthy living.

Dr. Veronica Hunnicutt is a former educator, administrator, community activist, author, and CEO of The Hunnicutt Foundation. She has written three books, including Straight Talk: How to Survive and Thrive as a Young Man of Color, an empowering resource for readers of all ages and genders, with a special focus on young men of color ages 16–35. Through her books, education, and community leadership, Dr. Hunnicutt encourages young people and families to think critically, make positive choices, overcome barriers, and create pathways toward healthy, productive, and successful lives.
