THE PIT GATHERINGA relaxed evening of words, stories, songs and a maybe a bit of theatricals!
Poetry, stories, spoken word, folk songs, shanties, songs, little plays — whatever you fancy bringing along and sharing.
Written your own story or poem? Got a song you fancy singing? Or maybe there’s a poem, story or song you simply love and want to share with everyone? Bring it along!
No themes, no set slots and no big performance setup. Just people gathered together, taking turns when they feel like it, listening, joining in and seeing where the evening goes.
A few people are even thinking of putting together a little play! Basically, if you’ve got something you fancy sharing or having a go at — anything goes!
And you don’t have to perform at all. You’re just as welcome to come along, grab a drink and enjoy it.
First Tuesday of every month • 7pm–10pm
