THE GREATEST SKA AND TWO TONE HITS SMASHED INTO ONE NIGHT OF ENDLESS FESTIVE FUNIt’s over 40 years since Jerry Dammers launched 2 Tone label and while music genres come and go, few styles have stood the test of time as well as ska. The distinctive instrumentals, raw energy, and forward-driving brass section has given ska music the chance to carve out a niche in the musical world.
The Gangsters, who took their name from The Specials track, keep the tradition of black and white alive with what can only be described as the ultimate Ska tribute band. Dressed from head to toe in their very own 'Gangsters' gear, the band look as good as they sound.
The Gangsters ethos is to play the songs in the style of the original band. So, as you would expect The Gangsters play the very best from Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners, The Beat plus a whole host of Ska and 2 Tone classics. So, from the very first beat the floor is filled!
With the very best Ska and 2 Tone songs, exciting live shows and a sound that encapsulates the best of what ska music has to offer, there's no doubt that The Gangsters are rightfully considered one of the very best Ska/2 Tone tribute bands around.
