An acting workshop made up of games from improv, clowning, and acting training, designs specifically for stand up comedians.About this Event
Two hour weekly acting workshop exclusively for stand-up comedians. Instead of serious intensive acting class, this workshop will equip stand-up comedians with acting skills, techniques, and mindset through games that derive from improv, clowning, and various acting approaches. Periodically the class will also offer tutorials on practical concerns actors will often have on set or on stage, but will largely focus on games the acclimate and acclimatize comedians to the actor's practice. This workshop will not only make comics better actors, but add presence and stage-craft to their stand-up comedy.
