About this Event

The Game Assembly Open Event

Discover what it’s like to study at The Game Assembly and take your first step towards a career in the games industry.

Join us at our Liverpool studio in The Tea Factory for our Open Event, where you can explore our courses in Game Art, Game Programming and Level Design, meet our teaching team, tour the studio and play games created by our students.

You’ll also learn more about the way we teach at The Game Assembly — working in multidisciplinary teams, developing real game projects and learning in an environment designed to reflect the way professional game studios operate.

Meet the people behind our programmes, discover how our industry partners contribute directly to the student experience, and find out how we help students develop the skills, experience and working behaviours needed to move into the games industry.

Whether you’re an aspiring artist, programmer or level designer, this is your opportunity to experience The Game Assembly for yourself and find out if our approach is right for you.

Applications are open for our 2027 cohort, with places available across:

  • Game Art
  • Game Programming
  • Level Design

Learn more about our programmes at thegameassembly.ac.uk.

Come and see where your career in games could begin.
