Why:
Many of us have items sitting around and they are collecting dust and taking up space. There are others who may not have the funds to by items we need or little gifts for our families to open or the holidays, or maybe you fit into both of those categories.
This is basically a “free yard sale”
Everyone is welcome to shop. Everyone is welcome to drop off. No qualifications. No judgement!
How it works:
Items in good used condition or better can be dropped off any time from 7am- 2pm on Saturday (so things are being added through the day and the early bird won’t get all the worms 😅) I have space for a few items to be dropped off a day or two before.
Clothing is available anytime at the kindness closet for free, so please keep clothing drop offs limited to a few items. Children’s clothing can be bagged and and labeled, for example:
“size 6/7 boys summer”
You are welcome to bring a few items when you shop (anytime between 9am and 4pm) but no large drop off's after 2:00 on Saturday.
At 4:00 pm Items will be loaded up to be donated, if you would like to volunteer to pick up some items you can donate to any organization of your choice.
The pantry will be open during that time.
Please stop by to shop, drop off, or just hang out. You can visit multiple times during the day if you would like
I have never done this before so were just going to roll with it, but if you have ideas- share them!
