This year, the West Reading Recreation Commission invites you to experience The Forgotten Forest, an original haunted attraction created exclusively for the 2026 Haunted House & Hayride Weekend.
Your journey begins along an abandoned forest trail, where forgotten campsites, eerie ranger warnings, and strange signs suggest you are not the first to wander these woods. As the path winds deeper into the darkness, the forest begins to change. The distant glow of carnival lights breaks through the trees, leading to a place that should no longer exist. And for those who make it through… one final crossing awaits.
Every scene has been designed to immerse you in a single story, blending cinematic scenery, atmospheric lighting, detailed sets, and live actors into a haunted experience unlike any previous year.
