Join the BIHF team this Halloween night on the Belfast Barge for a screening of John Carpenter’s The Fog as they mark the 10th anniversary of their first ever screening at the same venue.Strange things begin to occur in the tiny California coastal town of Antonio Bay as it prepares to commemorate its centenary.
Inanimate objects spring eerily to life; Rev. Malone stumbles upon a dark secret about the town's founding; radio announcer Stevie witnesses a mystical fire; and hitchhiker Elizabeth discovers the mutilated corpse of a fisherman. Then a mysterious iridescent fog descends upon the town and more people start to die.
Fancy dress on the night is encouraged, with prizes up for grabs for the most fiendishly dressed, then stick around after the screening stick around at the Barge’s bar for some Halloween themed music as the team announce the winners of this year’s Short Film Festival competition.
