About this Event
The Film Intensive costs far less than film school and focuses on the real-world industry knowledge that is often missing from college film programs. But, for most people, $425 is still a sizable expense, and it can be hard to justify that investment until you actually know what you’re going to get out of it.
So this year, we’re doing something a little different.
We’re opening Day 1 of The Film Intensive on a pay-what-you-can basis, so you can experience the program for yourself before deciding whether to continue.
Join us October 4 for the full opening session, where we’ll dive into some of the questions filmmakers most want answered: How do you get a movie funded? How do you approach and attach recognizable actors? How do you develop and package a film? What makes a project actually marketable?
And that’s just part of the day.
This is the complete six-hour class — not a preview or abbreviated version — valued at $106.
At the end of the session, if you want to continue with the remaining three classes and learn the "biz," you can enroll in the full Film Intensive at the standard $425 tuition. If not, simply settle up for the day based on what you can contribute and the value you received. There’s no obligation to continue and you set the price of the intro class. Come experience the Intensive and decide for yourself.
