About this Event
You know how to give.
Your time.
Your energy.
Your attention.
Your care.
Your strength.
You remember what everyone needs.
You hold the space.
You keep things moving.
And somewhere along the way, you may have become very, very good at giving…
…but not so good at receiving.
What happens when you stop reaching outward for a moment?
When you don’t have to hold it all?
When you allow yourself to be the one who is held?
The Feminine as the Art of Receptivity is an invitation to explore exactly that.
Not by becoming “more feminine.”
Not by adding another thing to your already-full list.
Not by trying to fix yourself.
Instead, you are invited into a body-led ritual of remembering, releasing and receiving.
Through rosemary, breath, guided meditation, drum, voice, movement, silence and journalling, we move through:
REMEMBER → RECOGNISE → RELEASE → SURRENDER → RECEIVE
You may notice the ways you’ve learned to hold, manage, anticipate and control.
You may discover that surrender feels unfamiliar.
Or perhaps your body simply exhales.
There is no right experience.
There is nothing to perform here.
Singing and dancing are completely optional. You are welcome to sing, move, sway, sit, listen or simply close your eyes and receive.
Your body gets to decide.
You’ll also be invited into a threshold meditation and journalling practice to explore what you’re ready to release and what you’re ready to become available for.
You won’t be told what you should discover.
I’m not here to give you the answers.
I’m here to create the space for you to encounter yourself.
Perhaps this is for you if…
You’ve spent years being the capable one.
The strong one.
The reliable one.
The one everyone comes to.
You care for others, but receiving care can feel strangely uncomfortable.
You can rest, but only after everything is done.
You’re entering a new chapter, but the old way of doing things no longer fits.
You’re craving less noise.
Less fixing.
Less striving.
More listening.
More space.
More you.
Maybe you’re at a threshold.
Maybe you’re simply tired.
Maybe something in you is quietly saying:
“I want to receive.”
If that sentence landed somewhere in your body…
come.
A note from Anita
I am not here to tell you what the feminine is.
I am not here to tell you what you should feel, release or receive.
Trust yourself. Not me.
Your body has been talking to you your whole life.
Perhaps this isn’t about learning its language.
Perhaps it’s about remembering that you already speak it.
Come exactly as you are.
Wear something comfortable that allows you to move and lie down. Bring a journal.
You don’t need to prepare.
You don’t need to perform.
You don’t need to become anything.
For 90 minutes, put down the role of the woman who holds everything together.
And practise something different.
Receiving.
