On this most holy day, we gather to celebrate one of the seven Principal Feasts of the Episcopal Church: The Feast of All Saints, together with the commemoration of All Souls (All the Faithful Departed). All Saints reminds us that we belong to something far greater than ourselves—a communion of saints stretching across generations, connecting those who have gone before us with those who continue their journey of faith today.
All Souls offers us a sacred opportunity to remember those we have loved and lost, giving thanks for their lives and entrusting them to God's eternal care.
This will be a particularly beautiful and solemn celebration of the Holy Eucharist, drawing upon the rich liturgical traditions of the Church, including:
Incense and bells, ancient symbols of prayer, holiness, and reverence.
A chanted Holy Eucharist, joining our voices with the worship of the Church throughout the ages.
The Renewal of our Baptismal Covenant, affirming our place in the communion of saints.
The Reading of the Necrology, remembering by name those of our parish ʻohana who have died, accompanied by the solemn tolling of the bell.
Sacred music and hymns, celebrating the promise of eternal life and the hope of resurrection.
Families with Keiki (Children) Are Welcome!
Our Keiki Church begins at 9:00 a.m., offering our youngest members an age-appropriate opportunity to explore God's love through stories, prayer, and activities. The keiki return to the church around the Prayers of the People, joining the entire parish ʻohana for the remainder of the liturgy and Holy Communion.
As we gather around God's Holy Table, we are reminded that the Church is never simply those we can see. We worship alongside that great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us, united in the love of Christ Jesus.
Whether you come to remember someone dear to you, to experience the beauty of traditional Episcopal worship, or simply to find a moment of peace and hope, there is a place for you at St. Clement.
Following the service, please join us for refreshments and fellowship in the Parish House.
E komo mai! All are welcome!
