Create your own face oil and give yourself a moment of care.About this Event
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Face oil is where Caribbean skincare begins as a moment of care you give yourself. In this 2-hour workshop with Orijin, you'll build a face oil that belongs only to you. We'll start by setting an intention: when you'll reach for this oil, and how you want it to feel. Then we'll walk the table — carrier oils, Caribbean botanical infusions like hibiscus and jasmine, luxury oils, and aromatic drops — and you'll learn what each layer does and why.
From there you blend, following one of our three starting rituals or wandering off to build your own, until the bottle in your hands smells like something you want to reach for. Once your oil is poured and labeled, we slow down. Kora will guide you through a gua sha facial massage using the oil you just made, so you leave knowing exactly how to use it. No experience needed. Just a face, and two hours to yourself.
What you'll take home:
- A 30ml bottle of your own custom-blended face oil
- Your own gua sha stone, yours to keep
- 25% off Orijin products
- The know-how to blend for your skin and a gua sha ritual you can keep up at home
ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR:
Kora-Lynah is the co-founder of Orijin, a Caribbean-rooted skincare line built on the botanical rituals she grew up with. Orijin's oils and balms are made in small batches with ingredients like hibiscus and jasmine — a love letter to the culture that raised her. She teaches face oil blending the way she learned skincare: intuitively, with your hands, and with room to make it your own.
