The Empty Chair: a Thanksgiving Story

The Empty Chair is a new biblical Thanksgiving production about God’s faithfulness throughout every season of life. We often thank God for what He has given us—family, home, health, and many other blessings. But as the years pass, we begin to understand something even deeper: our greatest reason for gratitude is not only what God gives us, but who He is. He remains faithful. The Empty Chair moves through different seasons of life—joy and waiting, answered prayers and seasons when the answers do not come quickly, moments of certainty and times when God’s purposes are difficult to understand. Yet one truth remains through it all: God has not changed. His grace has not run out. His promises remain true. This is a special Thanksgiving program specifically for adults and seniors in the church. It is quieter, deeper, and more personal, with warmth, gentle humor, and a clear biblical message of God’s faithfulness and our hope in Christ.
