About this Event
This is a practical workshop for creative people, aimed at exploring our creativity.
We will consider the rules and restrictions we unknowingly place on ourselves and highlight the importance of play.
This workshop is very much inspired by Yoko Ono's Grapefruit, but you don't have to know anything about that work to attend.
Anyone wanting to explore creativity is welcome. Whether you are new to exploring your creative side or you have an established practice in art, performance, theatre, music, or anything else!
This workshop will involve a mixture of discussion and practical activities. You can engage at whatever pace and depth feels right for you.
Materials will be provided.
Suitable for ages 16+. Anyone younger is welcome but will need to be supervised by an adult.
The workshop will take place in the basement of The Malt Cross. It's downstairs, but there is a lift if you need one.
All Elsewhere Studio events aim to be as accessible as possible. If you are unsure if this will be accessible for you, please ask.
The Elsewhere Studio is LGBTQ+ friendly and is run by a non-binary artist and philosopher.
