For more than two decades, The Elders have stood at the forefront of Celtic rock in the United States, captivating audiences with a sound that feels both timeless and unmistakably their own. Blending American roots with Celtic traditions, the band delivers soaring melodies, rich harmonies, and storytelling that resonates long after the final note. The Elders’ journey began in 1998, when musicians Norm Dahlor and Brent Hoad returned to Kansas City with a shared passion for Irish music and a vision to fuse it with the energy of rock and folk which led to the creation of their popular songs Men of Erin and Raging Sea, amassing over 70,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone. Over the years, The Elders have built a remarkable legacy, highlighted by an Emmy Award-winning concert DVD, a nationally televised PBS special, and their induction into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. The Elders bring authenticity to every performance and continue to deliver powerful heartfelt shows that celebrate heritage, community, and the unifying power of music.
