About this Event
The Dread Ball exists in a realm where reality is defined only by fear. On these cursed nights, the boundaries between worlds grow thin and allow creatures of all kinds to come together to mingle and scheme.
Guests will step into a world of fantasy inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, more specifically the horror realm of Ravenloft as made famous by the adventure module Curse of Strahd. Over the course of four hours, a parlor scene will unfold with various activities and scenes to create a fully immersive game.
Masquerade is the official launch of
The Dread Ball LARP (Live Action Roleplay) series following our successful beta test, and includes a short ballroom dancing lesson for interested players. Both nights will follow the same overall plotline but will adapt to match each group of characters. Players will receive an email upon ticket purchase with information on character creation, costuming, and gameplay to prepare for the evening.
PLEASE NOTE: To ensure a safe and immersive experience, there will be NO late entry unless explicitly approved by one of our Storytellers. Dragon Events NYC and Medusa Art Studios are not responsible for any physical harm incurred during the event, and reserve the right to pursue compensation for any damages to the space beyond reasonable wear and tear.
