THE DMV RED TABLE WITH BLACK DIAMOND 💎
An Afternoon of Sisterhood, Conversation & Lavish Brunch
Pull up a seat for an afternoon of meaningful connections, heartfelt conversations, laughter, and love. Black Diamond brings her passion for sisterhood to The DMV Red Table, creating a welcoming space where women can share their stories, celebrate one another, and connect through real experiences.
Meet six inspiring women whose journeys reflect resilience, purpose, and community impact:
• Wanda Knotts represents Wanda’s Hope Klozet Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit providing essential clothing, coats, and shoes to children, women, and families facing hardship.
• Dionne Young is an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience, a financial professional, mentor, community advocate, and author of She Didn’t Quit. She empowers others through business development, financial education, and a commitment to building lasting legacies.
• Takenya Millhouse is the owner of HPthesalon, visionary behind The Yellowtable, a mental health influencer, and cancer survivor who brings a powerful perspective on healing and perseverance.
• Mary Douglas Brown is a breast cancer survivor since May 4, 2004, whose journey brings an inspiring voice of strength and hope to the table.
• Crystal, affectionately known as Crissy, shares a guiding message we can all carry with us: “Live with integrity & Love intentionally.”
• Monique B, better known as Mo the Connector, is a native Washingtonian raised in Southeast D.C. A serial entrepreneur, speaker, mentor, and author, she owns FLCS event and hospitality staffing agency and Herise Growth Transitional Housing for men in Ward 7.
Hosted by Ms. Spicy, the afternoon will blend thoughtful discussion with plenty of personality! She’ll ask each panelist four questions to help the audience get to know the woman behind the story, then bring the fun with interactive Convo or Dare games played with the audience.
DJ Gracie Grace will rock the house with a sexy, smooth soundtrack as guests enjoy a lavish brunch and conversations that go beyond the surface. Come ready to listen, laugh, share, and show love.
