About this Event
Our immensely popular Dinner Detective shows are set in the present day. Unlike other M**der mystery dinner events, here you will find no cheesy costumes, no recited campy dialogue and no hokey song and dance. Our performers are dressed just like everyone else, leaving all of the guests to suspect who is a part of the show and who is not. In many instances, guests are seated with the performers and don't even realize it until they die...the performers, that is! Our Detectives proceed to interrogate everyone and find clues as the mystery unfolds. At the end of the night, prizes are awarded to the Top Sleuth who solves the crime.
The Dinner Detective performs at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel Cleveland Downtown, a full-service hotel in beautiful downtown Cleveland. We offer an amazing M**der mystery show paired with a fantastic multi-course dinner. You will receive appetizers and salad and dessert, along with a choice of Herbed Chicken Breast, Baked Haddock, OR Grilled Vegetable Ravioli. An event bar available as well to purchase beverages. Come early and enjoy our on-site lounge, Harvey's, and enjoy a cocktail with family, friends, and fellow true crime fans!
Our show does not have a theme or time period, and our performers are not in costume. You can choose whether or not to participate in the show! Our guests are encouraged but not required to perform or participate. However, since our performers are hidden in the audience, other audience members may interact with and interrogate you on their own. The investigation takes place all around you! We also ensure each table gets to see every clue and witness every important scene, so all guests have an equal chance to solve the mystery!
The Dinner Detective is a show geared toward adults. We have a strict age limit of 15 years old, due to mild adult content, loud noises, possible swearing, and an improvisational nature with guests.. Business casual or dressy casual wear is required for our events, unless otherwise specified in the event description! No logo/printed T-shirts, shorts, ballcaps, flip-flops, or torn clothes are permissible. Jeans are acceptable unless otherwise specified in the event description.
