About this Event
🏌️ DESERT SHOWDOWN
Rams Hill Golf Club | 2-Man Scramble
🏆 TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- Format: 2-man scramble.
- Scoring: Gross scoring — no handicap adjustments. The lowest team score wins.
- Entry Fee: $250 per player ($500 per team).
- Entry Fee Breakdown: $200 per player covers the tee time, golf cart, and applicable course fees. The remaining $50 per player goes directly into the tournament prize pool.
💰 PRIZE POOL
The prize pool will be distributed among the top three finishing teams:
- 1st Place: 60% of the prize pool.
- 2nd Place: 25% of the prize pool.
- 3rd Place: 15% of the prize pool.
Final prize amounts will be verified once all players are registered and the total prize pool is confirmed.
👥 REGISTRATION & TEAM ASSIGNMENTS
Players are encouraged to register with a partner, but individuals can register as well.
Individual registration fees will not be collected until the player has been paired with another individual to form a 2-man team.
Each 2-man team will be randomly paired with another 2-man team to form a foursome. Teams will compete against the entire tournament field, not just the team they’re paired with.
📊 SCORING & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Live scoring will be available throughout the tournament so everyone can follow the leaderboard.
- All putts must be holed out. No gimmies!
- At the end of the round, both teams in each foursome must verify and agree on each other’s scores before submitting their final scorecards.
- We’re counting on everyone to keep an honest score, hold themselves accountable, and respect the integrity of the game.
🤝 TIEBREAKERS
In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a tiebreaker contest, either a closest-to-the-pin chipping challenge or a putting competition. The specific format will be announced before the tournament.
