The Deerfield Lane Learning Garden - Fall Volunteer Days

The Deerfield Lane Learning Garden, the Nature Center’s new native plant teaching garden, was established earlier this year. Consisting entirely of native plants, this accessible teaching garden will be used to educate visitors about the important roles of local flora.

Come help us put our garden to bed for the winter, and learn valuable skills about home gardening. Volunteers will help with seasonal garden cleanup, mulching, and other preparations to protect our plants and prepare the garden for the coming growing season. All experience levels welcome! Bring gloves, water, and dress for the weather. Registration encouraged.
