🌵⚡ MANZENITA at THE POSSE BAR — WESTMINSTER ⚡🌵A group of all-star musicians from Orange County, Sacramento, Seattle, and the South Bay has teamed up to form MANZENITA, bringing together a shared love of Phish, the Grateful Dead, and the improvisational spirit of live jam music.
MANZENITA isn't about simply playing note-for-note covers. The band embraces the spontaneous, exploratory side of the music, creating space for extended jams, unexpected segues, musical conversations, and Type II improvisation where a song can take a completely different direction than where it started.
Expect a mix of Grateful Dead classics, Phish favorites, psychedelic grooves, deep jams, and other songs that fit the MANZENITA vibe. One night might feature a familiar tune that turns into a 15-minute exploration, while the next could take a completely unexpected musical detour. The goal is simple: keep the music moving and see where the jam takes us.
We're bringing all of that to The Posse Bar, a longtime Westminster neighborhood favorite known for its country-western atmosphere, great drinks, live music, and welcoming local crowd. With 100+ whiskeys and bourbons and a strong commitment to the community, it's no surprise the Posse Bar was recently named Best Bar in Westminster!
