The Days Between — Kimmeridge, Tyneham & Worbarrow Bay 🥾🌊🧡Never quite sure what day it is between Christmas and New Year? Here’s something for the diary!

Meet at Kimmeridge Bay car park at 9am, walking at 9.15am.
Join me for an approximately eight-mile circular, with coastal views, a stop at beautiful Worbarrow Bay and time to explore the deserted village of Tyneham, before returning inland via Steeple Leaze.
Visiting Tyneham at this time of year feels particularly poignant. Its residents left their homes shortly before Christmas in 1943, believing they would return. We’ll pause to discover their stories among the cottages, church and old school.
Bring a packed lunch, a warming flask and perhaps a few leftover mince pies! A lovely opportunity for fresh air, friendship and a good walk together. 😊
🥾 Grade 4/5 — challenging: substantial hills, steep sections and potentially muddy paths. Good fitness, walking boots and suitable winter clothing needed.
⏰ Allow around 5½–6 hours, including stops.

🐾 Well-behaved, socialised dogs welcome on leads; no entire males, please.
