The Dandelion Circle is a secular inclusive women’s group for honest conversation, connection, and wisdom sharing across generations. All women (cis and trans), nonbinary, and gender-expansive people who feel at home in a women-centered space and connected to these conversations, belong here. Our experiences are not identical, and the cultures and systems surrounding womanhood shape our lives in different ways. This circle makes room for conversations about relationships, identity, caregiving, bodies, work, aging, patriarchy, misogyny, and the ordinary realities of moving through the world as women.
Each gathering offers opportunities to reflect on the highs and lows of the past month, talk about what is present in your life, and listen to each other, inviting connection between generations. These conversations will emerge from what participants are actually living, not from a prescribed agenda.
We will likely sit with the reality of holding multiple truths at once: joy, transition, grief, anger, uncertainty, or possibility. Nothing shared needs to be fixed or made positive.
No particular expression of femininity, or previous circle experience is required.
This is a true donation-based gathering. Proceeds go towards snacks/drinks, possibly crafts, flowers anything that the facilitator may provide that day, so pay what you can to contribute to the shared experience, even if that is zero.
