About this Event
Join us for a thought-provoking evening with Sunny Hodge – author of the much-discussed The Cynic’s Guide to Wine and founder of the award-winning bar Diogenes the Dog. Known for his science-led, myth-busting approach, Sunny looks at wine with curiosity, clarity, and a healthy dose of cynicism.
Together, we’ll taste, talk, and gently challenge what “natural wine” really means – beyond labels, trends, and buzzwords.
Expect bold questions, such as:
✅ What is natural wine, really?
✅ Is “natural” always better – or just better marketed?
✅ Organic, biodynamic, regenerative… what actually matters in the glass?
✅ How much of natural wine is philosophy, and how much is science?
An evening for curious wine lovers, open conversations, and wines that spark debate – very much in the spirit of How To Wine.
Pre-signed copies of The Cynic’s Guide to Wine are available with selected tickets and on the night.
