About this Event
Introducing our Craft and Coffee Club in Swadlincote in partnership with CRE8IVTRIX.
Our Craft sessions are open to adults (18+) who would like to explore and express theirselves through arts and craft.
In our relaxed setting, you can come along and have a cup of tea or coffee with the group whilst getting creative and calming the mind.
All are welcome to participate in some creative and mindfulness activities that participants can take home with them.
The Craft and Coffee club will be a safe place to relax, socialise and have fun with likeminded people.
Here's what to expect in the upcoming Craft and Coffee sessions:
lSeptember - Community blanket project week 1 - designing and sewing our own patches to bring together, to form a special blanket for the Derbyshire Mind site.
September - Community blanket project week 2 - a continuation of week 1
October - Community blanket project week 3 - bringing all the patches together to create our final blanket
October - Printing - this time of year brings the leaves down to the ground. But what about using those leaves to print with and to create wonderful autumnal images? What other materials can be used to print with to create interesting textures and patterns?
All activities are subject to change due to suggestions from the group or available materials.
