Let the music paint a picture in your mind with our February concert, titled “The Composer’s Paintbrush: Early European Musical Imagery.” Bach was a master of painting the words to music, and we celebrate composers that came before him that were also known for this engaging technique. Monteverdi, Josquin, Morley, Dowland, Lasso, and Schütz are featured as explore the many canvases that music can create. The unbridled joy of Bach leaps forth in music that he used for his Christmas Oratorio and B Minor Mass.$20 adults, $10 students and children
