This month, The Community Lincoln welcomes Shannon Mueller, owner of Shannon Mueller Empowerment Photography Studio | Boudoir by Shannon, for a conversation about body, business, and what it means to help other women see themselves clearly.
Shannon describes herself as a 5-foot-tall feisty redhead on a self-love mission, an eating disorder survivor who now spends her days helping other women break down barriers and take up space. As a boudoir photographer, she has built a practice rooted in authenticity — sessions designed to help clients see themselves in a new light, tell their own story, and walk away feeling fierce and liberated. She holds a certification as an Advocate for Body Diversity and is committed to making sure every body, every sexuality, and every client feels welcome and worthy in front of her camera.
Before stepping into this work full-time, Shannon spent years as a nurse — a background she credits with making her uniquely comfortable putting others at ease. She brings humor, warmth, and a genuine love of lifting women up to everything she does, both behind the camera and now, to this room.
The meeting follows The Community's signature format: social time and optional lunch from 12:00–12:30 p.m., followed by the formal meeting from 12:30–1:30 p.m., with networking continuing after.
The Community is a group of women in business who are committed to growing themselves, doing good business, supporting one another with kindness, and showing up with integrity.
