Join Interlink RCT and our community and voluntary sector members from across Rhondda Cynon Taf for a Conference (and AGM) on collaboration and action.
Based on ‘what matters to you’ Interlink has been using your feedback, working with key strategic partners, including Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, to develop a set of ‘Commitments’. This recognises the importance of investing in the vital role of community and voluntary organisations in supporting people and communities across RCT.
These commitments focus on issues that matter most to our members, including sustainable funding, volunteering, effective communication and engagement, equal partnerships and shared decision-making.
This event is an opportunity to:
- Hear about progress on the proposed Commitments
- Contribute to what the Commitments mean in practice
- Help shape priorities for action
- Take part in our Design Market Place, training and workshops
- Take part in our AGM and help inform our Interlink plans and priorities
- Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided
The community and voluntary sector play a vital role in improving wellbeing, tackling inequality, supporting local people and strengthening communities. Your voice is essential in helping ensure these Commitments will lead to meaningful and lasting change to support a more sustainable community and voluntary sector.
