About this Event
THE COMEBACK: An Inspiring Evening with Dara Torres
12-Time Olympic Medalist. Former World Record Holder. Five-Time Olympian.
Join UCONN Health's Waterbury Hospital and the Greater Waterbury YMCA for an evening built around one idea: it is never too late to come back stronger.
Dara Torres has spent a career proving that comebacks are not just possible, they are powerful. At 41, she proved age is no limit, earning an Olympic medal later in life than any swimmer before her, and her story of resilience, discipline, and refusing to be counted out has inspired athletes and everyday people alike. On November 5th, she brings that story to Naugatuck Valley for a night of connection, reflection, and community.
The evening opens with a welcome reception, moves into Dara's presentation and a live audience Q&A, and closes with desserts and conversation to keep the night going. Come for the story. Stay for the community.
